Day 1: Welcome to Portugal
Welcome at the airport and your driver will take you to the train station. 1st class train trip to Oporto (approx. 2h35), where your driver is waiting for you, to take you to the hotel.

Day 2: Oporto
Today you'll discover the amazing city of Oporto. With your private guide, start this walking tour, by visiting some historical monuments. S. Bento Station, with its atrium lined with tiles, is a great way to start! Just ahead is the Cathedral followed by Clérigos Tower, worth climbing for a different view of Porto. Don't forget to stop in the Lello bookshop, that inspired some of the Harry Potter stories. Then pop in to the Café Majestic for a break. Continue south and descend by steps and mediaeval streets to Ribeira with its café terraces and picturesque corners. On the other side of D. Luís Bridge you'll find all the Port wine lodges, where you'll visit and taste the famous Port wine. Overnight in Oporto

Day 3: Peneda-Gerês National Park
Today you'll explore the only Portuguese protected area classified as National Park: Peneda-Gerês with a hiking tour. It's a world apart in which human activity and nature are harmoniously integrated. A lush vegetation in all shades of green with endemic species and waterfalls designing breathtaking landscapes. The diversity and abundance of local flora and fauna provide a unique contact with nature where mediaeval castles, monasteries and traditional villages are part of the landscape. Overnight in Oporto

Day 4: Douro Valley
In a day trip with a private guide you'll visit the famous region of Douro Valley. Douro Valley, classified World Heritage, is a region of schist mountains, with poor, harsh soils, transformed by the actions of the men who planted the vineyards step by step. The day will be spent admire some breathtaking landscapes: the valleys, the blue ribbon of the river meandering down below, the terraced vineyards, the pure air. You'll have opportunity to visit one of the many estates that produce Douro wine and Port and taste it in the land that produces them. Douro river is also famous for being difficult to navigate, impeded by natural barriers, being the rabelo boat, a unique and ancient vessel, the only one able to do it. Day 5: Food tour
In the morning, your driver will pick you up and take you to the train station. 1st class train trip to Lisbon (approx. 2h35), where your driver is waiting for you, to take you to the hotel. After checking in the hotel, in the afternoon, you'll have a food tour in Lisboa. The food in Lisbon is as appealing as the city and the region. With a foodie, you'll be strolling around typical neighborhoods, learning about the city's gastronomy, tasting some great good and wine, absorbing the bohemian atmosphere. Overnight in Lisbon

Day 6: Lisbon
Today, with your private guide, you'll discover Lisbon. Lisbon, the city of the seven hills, will seduce you in every neighborhood, on every street. It’s old. It’s modern. It is, without doubt, always surprising. It's a cosmopolitan city with so much to see and do that it is difficult to have enough time to see everything you want. For today, we suggest a selection of things from amongst all those you can do, which cannot be missed in the Portuguese capital. Start with the historic Alfama and Castelo districts, with one of the most fabulous views over the city and the river. Follow towards Belém, the neighborhood of the Discoveries, with the Belém Tower and the Jerónimos Monastery, both World Heritage. In Chiado and Bairro Alto, the most bohemian part of the town, stroll around, feel the atmosphere and do some shopping. In the evening, have a typical dinner at a Fado house while enjoying a Fado performance. Whether or not you like the style of music, dinner by candlelight listening to fado in Lisbon is unmissable. Day 7: Sintra
Sintra, the Mountain of the Moon, is a place full of magic and mystery With a perfect combination of nature and historic monuments, today you'll discover nooks and crannies of a landscape that is a World Heritage site with a hiking tour. Emerge in the Cultural Landscape of Sintra and before entering the botanical sanctuary of the Pena Park, stop in the Moorish Castle, back on the early days of the Moorish occupation in the 8th Century. Continue you walk to the top of the hill, to find one of the most romantic palaces in Portugal, the Pena Palace. The interior of the palace is still decorated according to the tastes of the kings and queens who lived there. Outside, Pena Park reflects the intellectual and artistic trends of the 19th century, the era of Romanticism. Overnight in Lisbon

Day 8: Évora
Alentejo has a long tradition in the wine production. Their wines will surprise you for their excellence, aromas and colours as unique as the landscape and the cuisine. In the morning, you'll visit one of the best wine producers of the region. In the afternoon, your private guide will show you Évora, a book of Portuguese art history. With narrow streets of Moorish origin contrasting with squares where the light floods in, discover why this city was classified as World Heritage Site. The medieval walls, the Cathedral, the Roman Temple and São Francisco Church, with its curious Chapel of Bones are unmissable. Overnight in Lisbon

Day 9: Cooking class
Take the day to relax in the city and stroll around, doing some shopping. Later in the day, learn how to prepare a traditional Portuguese meal with a fun cooking class. Portuguese cuisine is based on genuine quality products, using creativity and imagination, in very simple ingredients. Overnight in Lisbon

Day 10: Departure
It's time to say adeus, and after a fond farewell, your driver will take you to Lisbon airport.
